The best defense for democracy is a healthy, well educated, and informed citizen. Banning books, intimidating teachers, or limiting academic conversation (at any level of education) is directly opposed to this. SB 33 seems more like a bill from Germany of the 1930's rather than a piece of legislation consistent with NH's values of independence and free thinking. Therefore I oppose passage of this bill.
