Please trust that librarians can be responsible enough to vet what books are or are not appropriate. This is a bill that's based on baseless fears of a few and it's poorly worded restrictions open up to a world of possibilities that a handful of over reacting, under educated, people want. Are any of the people in support of this bill even qualified to push for this decision? When was the last time any of them were in a school library and when, if ever, did they find dangerously inappropriate materials in a NH school library. Show us the examples or leave it. It's not necessary. I respect the filtering capabilities of an actual librarian far more than anyone outside the libraries. They know what's going on, they are on our front lines. They know each student and what they are after. From the daughter of an elementary & middle school librarian.
