I am an independent voter in Dover. I am worried about the erosion of voting rights in NH. Too many of the laws passed in Concord seem to be designed to discourage voting and make it more difficult. I think our elected officials should be helping NH citizens and facilitating their ability to vote. The intent of the changes to the language for absentee voting seems to be to discourage and limit absentee voting by NH citizens. I think NH should be doing the opposite. Absentee voting should be an option provided to NH citizens for any reason THEY choose. No government should restrict the ability of it's citizens to vote. Citizens should have more flexibility and be able to make a personal decision about in person or absentee voting without government interference. I urge you to vote NO on SB 213.
