Debora Hatcher

I am an independent voter in Dover. I am worried about the erosion of voting rights in NH. Too many bills have been passed in Concord that make it harder for citizens to vote. So I was happy to see this bill relative to the number of polling stations that are available for certain towns. This should make it less likely that busy citizens who don't qualify for NH's restrictive absentee voting requirements will be able to vote. Too many people just don't have the time to stand in long lines, especially if they have to register on election day because of NH's difficult voter registration requirements. This bill will hopefully bring relief to citizens by ensuring towns and cities provide sufficient polling places. Please vote in favor of SB 218 to show NH citizens that you support their right to vote.
