I strongly oppose this bill; to implement this would harm not only Transgender individuals, but cisgendered women and children as well. This bill is seeking to solve a problem that simply doesn't exist; Transgender individuals are not causing harm to anyone by simply existing in public spaces. This bill is not about protection; it's about exclusion, control, and forcing LGBTQ+ individuals out of public life while putting children in harm's way. If this bill passes, who will enforce it? How? Does this bill give organizations the right to inspect people's genitala prior to using a restroom? Does it give the general public this right to inspect any individual that doesn't meet their specific idea of "correct " gender presentation? How exactly does this promote "safety"?? What about intersex individuals? All this bill does is cause harm. To everyone.
