As a social worker in NH, and as the mother of a child who is transgender, I implore you to OPPOSE this discriminatory bill. The LGBTQ+ community is discriminated against, bullied, harassed, assaulted, and isolated in this world. Suicide and depression rates are higher in this community than any other in our society. Imagine strangers hating you, when all you want to do is to be yourself in this world. They are lead to believe that something is "wrong" with them. It is our world that something is wrong with. Stop villifying and mistreating people simply for having been born into bodies they do not believe belong to them. All people deserve respect and the right to live their lives free of harassment, hate and bigotry. We are the LIVE FREE OR DIE state. That does not apply only to what YOU think it should. It should represent all people in this state. Rarely does anyone care about an issue these days unless if effects them personally. Conservative extremist legislatures have lost all humanity and it disgusts me. Please OPPOSE this bill and treat people in the LGBTQ+ community with the respect and dignity they deserve, just as you should every other individual. Treat people with humanity.
