I am a staunch supporter of local control for zoning issues, and this bill is no exception. It is has served the state very well. The town in which I live, Surry, has no municipal water or sewer, so proposed section I is most applicable. It is very helpful for us to be able to have a minimum lot size greater that 2 acres. The explanation for determining "the majority of land zoned for residential uses" seems reasonable on paper, but will be much harder to determine in fact. Please defeat this. Thanks.
