SB134 creates unnecessary barriers to essential care by setting burdensome work requirements. More than 90% of adults enrolled in Medicaid are either already working, caring for a child, managing an illness or disability, or attending school. Subjecting them to work requirements will not increase employment, but rather take away the health care coverage they need to get and stay healthy enough to work.
