Requiring equal work by all those on medicaid does not make sense. Some people due to disabilities or old age or ill health are not able to work. For example those who like my age mates had polio when they were children and have been disabled all their life should not be forced to work compared to an able bodied person. (With the present head of US Department of Health and human services, who is against all immunizations, there will be an increase of disabled people needing medicaid.!) Also those of us who worked hard all our lives doing jobs for non-profit organizations which helped many other people, but were not high paying jobs, should not be punished and prevented from getting medicaid when we get too old and run out of money.
