I oppose SB84. While I support efforts to increase the supply of affordable housing, I can not support any bill that mandates local zoning regulations. Local citizens and officials know their communities best and know what kinds of regulations serve their interests. Surely there are other approaches to this problem that don't involve such overly restrictive mandates.
