We are a family who has been reduced to one income due to my employer going bankrupt and closing doors. We rely on Medicaid for both of our twins; one who is extremely medically complex and receives waivers and the other we just added as the insurance coverage we have available to us would put us in extreme debt. While my husband is already working I can sympathize with the challenge of a work requirement as it is almost impossible to find a job that pays enough to offset the cost of child care so definitely not enough to be able to also include paying for health care. PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!
