My name is Molly, and I live and work on a farm in Barrington. I’m writing to express my strong opposition to SB84. Barrington uses zoning laws thoughtfully to support and preserve our rural character—a value that is deeply important to our community. SB84 undermines that local control and threatens the very tools we rely on to shape responsible, community-centered growth. I urge you to oppose this bill and stand up for the right of towns like mine to make planning decisions that reflect the needs and values of our residents.
