I am a fervent believer in vaccines and their ACCESSIBILITY for all families. NH has had a good program that enables all providers to obtain vaccines from a stock supply which in turns negotiates with the drug companies for “reasonable prices” (my quotes). If practices have to negotiate individually with the manufacturers the number and variety of vaccines that they can keep on hand will go down dramatically and INCREASE costs for them, their patients and the insurers (ultimately us). Having a stock supply for the state is the best practice for vaccination of children.
