As the mother of a young child, I strongly oppose this bill. The NHVA has been functioning as it should, helping doctors provide their patients with vaccines in a cost-effective manner and keeping vaccination rates high. There is no reason to disrupt a system that is working well for everyone involved, I sincerely hope we can all agree that the health and safety of our children should be a priority. In a time when measles outbreaks are happening around the country, repealing the NHVA — and thereby purposefully and knowingly making it more difficult for children to get the vaccines they need — is unconscionable.
