I am firmly opposed to HB524 as I believe it will create damaging hardships for and serious risks to the health of the children of our state. Access to affordable vaccinations is essential for the health and safety of all of our children. This bill will increase the cost of vaccinations for families and for insurance providers, thereby making it more difficult for many families to keep current on the vaccinations of their children, increase the risk for the spread of preventable illnesses to all children and and increase the cost of health care for all
