Dear Committee Members, As both an emergency medicine physician and a parent, I am writing to urge you to oppose HB524. Vaccines are among the greatest medical innovations in history, saving countless lives and preventing devastating diseases. Any effort to reduce access or increase costs for vaccines puts our communities—especially our children—at unnecessary risk. The eradication of diseases like smallpox and the near-elimination of others are remarkable human achievements. We should be doing everything possible to support vaccination efforts, not creating barriers that threaten public health. Please do not allow New Hampshire to move backward on this critical issue. I urge you to stand against HB524 and prioritize policies that protect and promote immunization.
