As a physician it is hard enough to do our jobs with the increasing complexity of our healthcare system, aging patient population, and constrained resources. If the elected officials in our state continue to chip at resources needed to make our jobs easier then physicians will leave this state, making the situation worse. Go into our ERs and it is apparent that the system is near its limits. Listen to the doctors who are pleading with you to preserve the tools we need to make our lives easier.
