The OCA is an independent state agency. This bill appears to be an attempt to undermine the need for consumer utility advocacy and allow the governor or whatever other executive power to determine what "advocacy" looks like. I will not support such a bill until there is irrefutable proof the dissolution of the OCA benefits the consumer.
