As a brewery which makes our own beer, I highly oppose another restaurant selling our beer to go. We are meticulous is making sure service lines are clean, that glassware is not just clean but “beer clean” (it is a different level of cleanliness) and in no way want someone filling a random container with our product without being the ones to inspect the container. We reject growlers at our own brewery depending on a plethora of criteria to ensure the best experience possible. We package our product to our standards and will never allow someone else to package our product. This bill is a major over step by the restaurants to encroach on our livelihood and should be soundly rejected.
