We need a Consumer Advocate. This position has been supported by Democratic and Republican governors and has been very important as a buffer between public utilities and the consumers of energy in NH. I don't approve of this position being transferred to the Dept. of Energy where it would become an instrument of the state executive. The person holding this position needs to be independent and free of political pressure. Please vote against HB610.
