In theory, EFA vouchers are a good idea. However, the way they have been structured and managed in NH is completely antithetical to the job elected officials are tasked with, which is representing the will of the people who elected them. This bill is a thinly veiled attempt to further the Republican goal of demolishing public education by inflicting enormous fiscal pain on property tax payers in the hope that the result will be a cry to abolish the local funding of public schools. I vehemently oppose this continued assault on the NH way of life. Private schools (and especially religious ones) should not be funded by tax dollars.
