HB 748 is an utterly irresponsible abuse of the children and families of NH. It will hurt local communities which are already struggling to support their public schools and enduring record high property taxes. The people of NH do not support these voucher programs! They are costly and siphon funds needed by public education to subsidize alternatives that a) do not necessarily produce better student outcomes, b) are not subject to oversight, and c) are primarily used by families that do not need the subsidies. Please defeat this bill.
