I oppose HB 358 because it removes a simple but important safeguard that helps protect our kids and communities from preventable diseases. Filling out a form to claim a religious exemption is not a burden, it's a basic step to ensure that decisions about vaccinations are intentional and informed. Without it, we risk more unvaccinated children, lower community immunity, and a greater chance of dangerous outbreaks. Keeping our schools and communities safe should be the priority, and this bill moves us in the wrong direction. I urge legislators to vote no.
