Please oppose those continuing resolution which serves to avoid responsibility to the citizens, especially the children, of this state. School funding is a difficult issue to fix, but that does not mean that it should simply be skipped. That is not how life works. Difficult issues mean making tough decisions and collaborating with others to come up with a solution. It can be done, and it must be done even if it involves a sales tax. As a property owner I know far too much of our school funding is based on homeowners. NH needs a better source of income. I have been listening to this debate since Mel "Ax the Tax" Thomson arrived on the NH scene. It is time to make history turn and fix the school funding issue. Denial won't do it.
