I am a retired Park and Recreation Professional and serve as the Chair of the New Hampshire Recreation and Park Association. NHRPA is the professional association for over 125 Park and Recreation professionals and the communities they serve from all over the state of NH. Although not often, there are bills that come before a legislative committee in Concord that would present challenges to those who provide Recreation services or Recreation and Park facilities. Sometimes these bills, should they pass, would create situations that would present great difficulties for our members to provide quality services and facilities to the communities they serve. On the other hand, there are times when bills submitted would be very helpful to those who provide these services and facilities. The members of our Association are mostly employed by municipalities. Ensuring that those who represent our profession, our association and the communities they serve are able to participate fully in the state legislative process is extremely important. I'm opposed to any bill that would interfere with that representation in Concord. and the legislative process. Thank you very much for your time.
