I support HB360 in that no school should perform surgical procedures, nor should any school prescribe pharmaceutical drugs. HOWEVER, schools must be able to use diagnostic tests WITH PARENTAL PERMISSION, particularly in evaluating students that may need an IEP (Individual Education Plan) in order to be able to achieve academic success. Interest inventories may also be used as diagnostic tests to help students choose certain school subjects that will help them make better vocational choices. Amanda Bradford, M.Ed.
