I am against this bill because it will negatively impact the abilities of NH's associations to collectively advocate in support of or in opposition to legislation impacting the missions of their organizations. Citizens join associations because there is strength in numbers, and sometimes it is necessary to hire a lobbyist who is better qualified or familiar with the proposed law to speak on behalf of the association, as to protect, advocate or oppose legislation that will impact the interests of the association.
