New Hampshire is in urgent need of the services and opportunities this bill provides. The state lacks sufficient USDA-certified butcher shops, and the few that do exist often fail to meet the needs of farmers and producers. This bill would give farmers the freedom to choose where their animals are processed while ensuring they can continue selling their products and making a sustainable living. Providing more options for high-quality processing facilities will strengthen our local agricultural industry and support the hardworking farmers who feed our communities.
