Patricia Anastasia | Oppose HB281

I am not opposed to electronic checklists being supplied in a sortable form, but I am opposed to the subtle change in RSA 657-15 that require that the information provided also include the voter address. What address is this seeking to include? The address where registered is already included. The address where registered is the only address needed to vote. So this is either creating a redundant requirement and unnecessary additional work in the checklist content, or it is putting an additional requirement on absentee voters. Are you looking for where the ballot was sent from? Absentee ballot applications do not require any address other than the address where registered.
