I am absolutely against mixing the primaries. As a Republican, I absolutely do NOT want individuals who don't intend to vote Republican in the General election to have any part in the Republican Primary with the intent of interfering or weakening the selection of candidate. Ranked Choice is a disease that only serves those trying to accomplish electoral fraud. IE, as we saw during the last election, Democrats or other criminally minded individuals, who actually voted in the Republican primary, hoping to derail the process such that the weakest candidate in the party ends up going to the General Election, and then (of course) switching back to being registered Democrats - not that that gave them much choice in the latter.. If you vote in the Republican Primary, then it should be mandatory that you vote Republican in the General. Both or NEITHER. Why then would any rational Republican vote for something this diseased that would make it even easier for Democrats and other fraudsters to upend the selection of Republican candidates. I could care less what diseased thing the "Democratic" party does - SELECTION of the candidate by the Party officials, like any other communist country with fraudulent elections, as opposed to letting their Democratic electorate choose. Reational Republicans want nothing to do with this.
