Kimberlee Braught

There are instances in which the school would need to preform diagnostic tests for the safety of the students. For example, this bill would make it so a diabetic student would not be able to have their blood sugar checked in school. The argument that the test could be preformed by the student themselves does not include instances in which the student is physically or mentally unable to preform and interpret the results of this test. The 5 year old kindergartener, the newly diagnosed student just figuring out the disease, the student symptomatic of hypoglycemia to the point of slow mentation and lethargy, to name a few very common examples. This bill is unsafe and puts our children at risk.
