Removing our state vaccination program would cause disruptions in children’s health across our state. It would make it more difficult for families to access vaccines in a timely manner. This may lead to increased disease in children, thus causing increased morbidity and mortality of children in NH. The financial impact on our healthcare system would also be worrisome, as many institutions across the state are already struggling with budget issues.
