I am a retired school nurse and member of the public. State supported vaccines have facilitated vaccine compliance resulting in the avoidance of vaccine preventable diseases by most of the general public. Vaccinations have supported school attendance (illness=absence), as well as the long term health of our children and families. Vaccine administration must be encouraged for all, and subsidized by the government for the benefit or our state and country. Families who struggle to put food on the table will choose food over vaccines, thus the need for government support. Personal disease prevention, as well as herd immunity are essential to minimize illness as well as the spread of diseases that we have not seen for years. We forget what it was like for family members to be stricken with polio, measles, mumps, pertussis, chicken Pox, and more (including covid). Do your research and read about the past- make a choice that supports the health of NH residents.
