What a mean, spiteful, unnecessary bill. The elderly and disabled have every right to vote, and I am disgusted that there are elected representatives trying to restrict the rights of nursing home residents to vote. Absentee ballots brought by appropriate officials are a valid form of voting, and a respectful and compassionate way to help older or disabled people vote, who otherwise cannot easily (or at all) get themselves to the physical polling place nearest them. Shame on you, whoever proposed this. Your parents (living or deceased) must be heartbroken that you would treat the elderly like this.
