This is a voter suppression bill targeting college students. It has a somewhat unclear definition of who is a dependent of someone in another state. Identification doesn't show that; how would a college student even demonstrate that they are or are not claimed as a dependent? You can't very well require them to submit their parents' tax forms in order to vote. College students typically spend four years, nine months each year, at their college and becoming part of their chosen community. They should not be prevented from voting by this unnecessary bill.
