This bill will impose additional burden on tax payers to pay for staffing to solve a problem that does not exist. The current controls on voter registration are demonstrated to be more than adequate, American citizens will be disenfranchised from their sacred right to vote by technicalities, such as the 79% of married women who take their husbands’ names and would therefore not have the right match to their birth certificate to prove citizenship. It’s adding bureaucracy rather than improving democracy. Please oppose.
