I oppose this bill because I believe the simplest way to address the issue of a voter not having the exact proof of citizenship when they register to vote is to have the voter attest to and sign an affidavit. Let's be human about the process. Some persons do not have a permanent housing arrangement; many of us have experienced our names being misspelled on all sorts of documents; and, well, people are people and sometimes misplace/lose/forget to carry all of their documents with them.
