Richard Slater | Oppose HB365

I oppose this bill because of the challenges it will create for our election system and the resulting cost to the taxpayer. I further oppose the bill for the obstacle to voting it places before married women who have changed their names and to those persons without easy access to the required documentation. Because voter fraud is very rare, I believe our financial resources are better put to use in other places. I further believe that we should be encouraging voting among all citizens of our state as an essential element in a healthy democracy.
