I strongly and unequivocally oppose this bill and the others the Republicans have proposed to make it harder for college students to vote in this state. If voting is a constitutional right to make our voices heard and one that belongs to everyone over 18, then why do we have to keep defending it. I know the effort to suppress the vote is a misguided attempt to ensure that minority rules but it is wrong, wrong, wrong. Let all qualified voters decide. Do it fairly and get you collective thumb off the scale. Our young people deserve a fair shake. If you can't win fair and square, maybe it's time to look in the mirror and start embracing all Granite Staters, not just the ones who vote your way! Enough is enough. How about looking at the real issues in this State like the lack of affordable housing g and the outrageous property taxes we pay? Those are real pressing issues not picking on college students.
