HB364 repeals the procedure for clerks to deliver absentee ballots to residents of nursing homes or elder care facilities. Currently, in many NH communities, the Supervisors of the Checklist will visit nursing homes and other elder care facilities, enabling residents to easily complete absentee ballots. This is a safe, efficient, and easy way for our communities' seniors to vote. It just seems spiteful that Republicans want to put up further hurdles to our senior population's ability to vote.
