Suzanne Dupont | Oppose HB323

HB323 would restrict acceptable voter IDs, in this case—out-of-state government IDs. An 18-year-old U.S. citizen domiciled in New Hampshire has the right to vote here and must prove their identity, when they do. However, HB323 restrictions mean eligible voters could be turned away simply for lacking a specific ID, even if they can prove who they are. HB323 is clearly an example of voter suppression, deliberately making it harder for college students—who often lean progressive—to cast their ballots. I oppose this Bill!
