William Thomas | Support HB661

I just learned that a 17 year old foster kid, Dawson Hayes, was apparently eligible to receive some $16,032 dollars from Social Security funds when he turned 18! NH's state government doesn't return such money to foster children who qualify! It's outrageous that our state government "pockets" over $2 million a year from eligible children in NH! Passage of this bill would rectify this wrong so I am hoping that the House Children & Law Committee would recommend passage of this bill. Thank you.
