The man who committed the mass shooting in Maine over a year ago had exhibited many mental health problems which people tried to flag to prevent him from getting access to guns. They failed. This information should be available should be available in the national background check database so that no matter where a person tries to buy a gun, the information is available. We don't need any more tragedies like what occurred in Maine.
