Guns terrify me. In the hands of the wrong people they can do extensive damage in a matter of seconds. If one of the roles of government is to protect people, I think it makes sense to try to do whatever possible to keep guns out of the hands of people who could possibly misuse them. I realize this is somewhat discriminatory against people with mental health problems, but, in this case, I believe safety comes first. Thank you for reading this.
