Education is a vital aspect of our country, but in order for students to access their education they need to have certain needs met. By ensuring student’s have access to food during the school day we are limiting outside factors that could negatively impact their ability to access their education. As a teacher I know when my students are hungry and I know the negative impact it has on them and their success. Feeding kids should be a no brainer. It is the best way we can make sure our investment into their educations and therefore our collective futures pay off.
