This bill is a strong move for New Hampshire, which takes great pride in our high quality of education, along with our neighboring New England states. A bill improving the literacy of preschool aged children for kindergarten preparedness, in a time when literacy rates are lower than they should be in our country, shows how much we prioritize child learning in our state. I appreciate that this bill has drawn bipartisan support and that there is a plan in place to complete a randomized controlled trial to assess the efficacy of this program.
