I am a pediatrician who has practiced in NH for 25 years. Ensuring the children of our State are well fed is critical to their academic success, growth and development. With the Federal government transferring more funds from the working and middle classes to the wealthiest, state and local government are left to make the needed investments to ensure our children are adequately nourished and educated. I realize the previous administration has left our State government in poor fiscal health by cutting needed revenue, but feeding our children is an investment that must be prioritized-they are our future.
