If this bill is passed, newborn licenses would be priced in the same as every other age group. The 1-16 year old age group is over 400% more expensive than the current price for 0-1 year old licenses. Newborn licenses are meant to encourage the next generation to enjoy the outdoors and what it has to offer. Increasing the price will detur parents from buying these licenses for their children and they might never take up hunting and fishing because of it.
