If New Hampshire allows non-profits to settle illegal immigrants, we create a dangerous precedent where private entities dictate state policy without legislative oversight. We must ensure that immigration matters remain under the jurisdiction of elected officials who are accountable to the people, rather than unelected organizations with ideological agendas.
