I am a Merrimack resident. Shifting Continental Blvd from a state owned road to a municipality owned road would negatively impact our town budget. The maintenance costs for the Town of Merrimack to maintain Continental Blvd could cost Merrimack taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars annually and paving costs are estimated at $1.8 million. This would be the same negative impact for any town across NH.
